Dead Men Walking: Society of Psychos Review

Society of Psychos is book two in the Dead Men Walking duet by Caroline Peckham & Susanne Valenti. A bloodthirsty dark romance.

I was stoked to score an ARC for this book. Loving Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep and being a huge fan of Caroline & Susanne’s dark contemporary romances I absolutely devoured this duet.
With Book 1 The Death Club being on audio it made binge reading the duet so easy!

We first met Niall in Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep, as he’s Kyan’s uncle. But we only get the surface of his story and the level of crazy he is doesn’t truly show until this duet.

This duet is absolutely phenomenal! Don’t get me wrong, it’s certifiably insane and twisted doesn’t begin to cover it. But the writing is absolutely addictive. The way Caroline & Susanne pull me in with the darkness and often sometimes the sheer depravity is fantastic.
This story is everything I need it to be. With Brooklyn’s Harley Quinn style persona and the bloodthirstiness of Niall it’s honestly brilliant.

With the enemies to lovers trope, the tragic back stories our MC’s hold and the slow burn this duet will have you on the edge of your seat needing to consume every moment. Plus the pop in of character favourites is always an added bonus!
