Hostile Takeover is a standalone MM romance with enemies to lovers and second chance tropes.
What was supposed to be a frat dare turned into so much more.
Ellison was the rich, entitled, careless frat boy or that’s how Grey saw him after a moment in a storage closet destroyed his future.
Grey is a ruthless, cutthroat business man who is seeking revenge for the actions that caused him to not only lose his college job but the future he had worked hard for.
Ellison with his sassy retorts and need to poke the bear, Grey for a response were great. Grey was so adamant to be stone cold, but the moments where he thawed made his so much interesting as a character.
This is not your typical enemies to lovers trope, there are so many underlying factors for both characters. I was definitely hooked and binge listened in one sitting. I really enjoyed this read.
