One Time Only Review

One Time Only is a standalone MM forbidden romance with the bodyguard trope by Lauren Blakely. 

Jackson is the sexy as hell wall of muscle body guard. 
Stone is the charming, tattooed musician who likes two things music and sex. But he’s not picky on gender. 

I’ve read a few Lauren Blakely books now, both solo and cowrites. But a lot of the time it’s hit or miss with me. It’s definitely me and not the writing or the book. Sometimes it lacks that vibe that consumes your complete attention. 

The writing for this isn’t bad by any means and it’s a great representation of the forbidden romance trope. We have all that lust filled tension and angst. But I just wasn’t wholly lost in the story with this. 

Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are always a brilliant duo. They make it so easy to listen to audiobooks with their duet narration.
