Sunset Cover Duet Review

Sunset cove duet is a spin off of the Temptation series by Ella Frank.

Finley is book one. This is a MM second chance romance.

We first meet Finley when he tries to hit on a BrElla coupe favourite in the Temptation series. But there is more to Finley than we saw.

Finley left his home to pursue his studies and to become a lawyer. But he didn’t go willingly. He was sent to live his life, but the man he loved. Brantley sent Finley to live his life and promised he’d call him home. 7 years pass and he gets the letter. It’s time to come home, Finn

This book has all the feels and some great tropes. with a medium level of angst it’s hard not to get totally consumed by this story. It does pull at the heart strings a little. But their journey is worth the ending.
There is also small moments and mentions of Derek and Jordan to build you up for Devil’s Kiss book 2 in this duet.

Devil’s Kiss is book two. An opposites attract MM romance.

Derek and Finn grew up together but in college drifted apart. When Finn was dating his professor and Derek was facing a challenging home life. With not just a deadbeat homophobic father and a crushing lack of self worth.
Jordan is friends with Brantley (Finns professor) but he’s also a wealthy and a young prodigy professor.

Derek and Jordan couldn’t be more different but maybe that’s what makes it worth. They have undeniable chemistry, banter and Jordan provides the one thing Derek needed in his life, love.

As always Ella has provided another couple that you can’t help but absolutely adore. Their story isn’t without challenges and moments of pulling those heart strings.
We also get a small teaser of Dylan, who features in his own series with Ace Locke, Preslocke.
