The Deepest Desires: Barred Desires Review

Barred Desires is book one in The Deepest Desires interconnected MM romance series by Ashley James, each book focuses on a different couple. This book features stepbrother trope. 

This was classic case of bookstgram made me do it, but I have no regrets. 
While Branson and Luca’s story does fall into the forbidden with the stepbrother trope I feel there was more in this book than just that. There are moments of addressing their past traumas (please read trigger warnings this might not your jam), genuinely funny moments and moments of pure cute sweetness. 

I did a struggle in some moments. More because I was hoping for more angst with their situation. But overall I did enjoy the book and right from the first chapter mention of Knox and Aston I knew I needed book two!
